フランスの世界的建築家ドミニク・ペローの発送から作られた。彼にとっては、複雑な地下街と接続する超高層ビルという条件が新鮮で、したがって、それをつなぐ吹き抜けに力が注がれた。外観は樹木になぞらえたもの。
